Apply NowStephen James Consulting are working with an established elderly care provider in the search for a Registered Home Manager for a mid-sized nursing home based in Hertfordshire.
This is a well-established service with strong foundations already in place. The focus is on maintaining quality, providing consistent leadership, and continuing to deliver high standards of nursing and dementia care within a stable environment.
We are keen to speak with experienced Nursing Home Managers who can demonstrate strong governance oversight, confident team leadership and a clear track record of maintaining regulatory standards.
You will be responsible for:

Overall operational and clinical leadership of the service
*
Maintaining CQC standards and inspection readiness
*
Leading and developing the nursing and care teams
*
Overseeing governance, audits and compliance processes
*
Managing occupancy, budgets and overall home performance
To be considered, you will need:
*
Previous experience managing a nursing home
*
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
*
A proven track record of stable leadership
*
A visible, hands-on and values-led leadership approach
*
Nurse qualification desirable but not essential
The role offers £60,000–£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
