Stephen James Consulting is working with one of its established, family-run elderly care providers in the search for an experienced Home Manager based in Hampshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Home Manager to take full responsibility for a large nursing home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred elderly care while maintaining strong clinical governance and full CQC compliance.
The successful Home Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, supporting both residents and staff while driving continuous improvement across the service. This role would suit an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Registered Home Manager, or Deputy Home Manager looking to step into a larger management position within elderly care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overall leadership and management of the nursing home
* Ensure safe, effective, person-centred care delivery
* Provide strong clinical and operational leadership to nursing and care teams
* Maintain full CQC compliance and governance standards
* Manage budgets, occupancy, staffing, and overall service performance
* Drive quality improvement and continuous development across the home
* Support staff through supervision, mentoring, and appraisals
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
* Ideally an active UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
* Proven experience as a Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, or Deputy Home Manager
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
* Experience within elderly care and dementia care settings
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding care within a nursing home environment
This Home Manager opportunity offers a salary of £80,000 – £85,000 plus an excellent achievable bonus package.
