Hospitality & Catering Teacher – Maternity Cover Location: LE3, Leicester Start Date: August Contract: Full-time (5 days per week) – Maternity Cover A secondary school in the LE3 area of Leicester is seeking a Hospitality and Catering Teacher to join their team from August to cover a maternity leave. This is a full-time role (5 days per week) teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing materials, and assessing student progress. Key Responsibilities Teach Hospitality and Catering to KS3 and KS4 students Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons Assess and monitor student progress Create a positive and engaging learning environment Follow the school’s curriculum and safeguarding policies Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching Hospitality, Food Technology, or Catering at secondary level Strong classroom management skills Ability to plan lessons and carry out assessments The School Supportive secondary school located in the LE3 area Well-resourced department Welcoming staff team and positive learning environment If you are an enthusiastic teacher looking for a full-time maternity cover role starting in August, we would love to hear from you.
