Housing Officer – Managed Agents Team | Hybrid – Manchester / Carlisle / Liverpool £30,302.64 salary Fixed Term Contract – 6 months (potential to extend) Must have access to a car We are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a national housing provider within their Managed Agents team on a fixed term basis. This role will involve managing a portfolio of dispersed properties across the Northwest while working closely with care providers, local authorities and third-party managed agents to ensure high quality housing management services are delivered. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of properties within a designated patch Carry out tenancy sign-ups, tenancy reviews and property visits Support allocations, lettings and tenancy management Work closely with care providers and third-party partners supporting vulnerable tenants Respond to property issues and escalate where required Manage tenancy issues including arrears and low-level ASB Maintain accurate records and meet service KPIs Liaise with internal teams to ensure effective housing service deliveryThe role requires strong stakeholder management as you will act as a key contact for local managed agents and partner organisations.  Candidate Requirements Previous Housing Officer / Housing Management experience Understanding of housing legislation and tenancy types (ASTs, licences etc.) Experience working with vulnerable tenants or supported housing Ability to manage a dispersed housing patch independently Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Confident working both remotely and visiting properties Candidates from supported housing providers or care providers with housing exposure may also be considered.  Additional Information Hybrid working Office bases available in Manchester, Carlisle or Liverpool Travel across the Northwest required (typically once per week) Enhanced DBS required Mileage reimbursed
