Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a busy Outreach Service in Liverpool on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role:

* Provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community.

* Support people experiencing homelessness to access appropriate accommodation, services and wider support.

* Build positive and professional relationships with service users, including those who may be hard to engage.

* Support individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, substance misuse, trauma, PTSD and other complex needs.

* Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

* Carry out regular welfare checks and respond appropriately to changing needs or concerns.

* Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, health services, mental health teams and other agencies.

* Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures.

Requirements:

* Previous experience of working in Housing, Homelessness, Outeach, Substance Misuse etc

* Full UK Drivers Licence

* Enhanced DBS
