Job Role - HR Associate
Location - Reading - Hybrid
Salary - £340.00 Daily Rate
Job Type - 6 Months FTC

Role Overview

This position sits within a specialist HR team, providing reliable and high-quality support services to the wider business. Acting as a first point of contact, you will deliver a responsive, customer-focused HR service while meeting agreed service standards.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in an HR or administrative position
Strong working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism Key Accountabilities

Deliver accurate and timely HR transactional services in line with agreed service levels
Provide efficient first-line HR support via systems, phone, email, and in-person queries
Uphold high standards in safety, quality, and teamwork Key Responsibilities

Maintain case logs and workload trackers to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement
Ensure HR systems are kept up to date with accurate and timely data entry
Produce clear, accurate documentation using approved formats and templates
Carry out routine and scheduled HR activities
Support managers, employees, and candidates in using HR self-service tools effectively
Escalate issues appropriately and within required timeframes
Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Contribute to project work and wider HR initiatives, including occasional face-to-face support
Assist with system testing and ongoing maintenance of HR platforms
Provide cover for team members during absences or high-demand periods
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and service delivery
Ensure HR documentation is handled and stored in line with data protection and retention requirements
Follow local procedures to maintain compliance and quality standards
Maintain strict confidentiality and apply appropriate information classification at all times
Keep up to date with employment legislation, policies, and best practice Additional Requirements

Candidates must have lived in the UK continuously for at least five years to be eligible for SC clearance (ten years for DV clearance)
