The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a busy and dynamic public sector organisation on an interim basis. This role sits within a strategic HR function and will play a key role in delivering expert employee relations support and casework management across multiple directorates.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives in complex environments and is experienced in managing high-volume, sensitive ER cases.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead on complex employee relations casework, providing expert advice and guidance to managers

* Support organisational change programmes including restructures, redundancies, redeployment and TUPE

* Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver effective people management solutions

* Analyse HR data and metrics, producing reports and recommendations to support decision-making

* Coach and advise managers to improve performance, engagement and people practices

* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and best practice

* Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures

* Work collaboratively with internal teams including Legal, Finance, Occupational Health and Communications

* Support learning and development initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture

* Deliver and support training, engagement and inclusion activities

About You

* Strong experience working as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a complex organisation

* Proven expertise in employee relations and case management

* Experience managing organisational change including TUPE and restructures

* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide insights

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
