Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team with Hull City Council. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in the Hull area. Job Title: Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - Duty and Assessment Team 🌟 Location: Brunswick House, Hull (HU2 9DB) Pay Rate: £35 per hour Key Responsibilities: Undertake assessments of children and families, including initial contact and referrals. Respond to safeguarding concerns and provide timely and appropriate interventions. Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to develop care plans. Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring documentation and reports are completed to a high standard. Comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to promote best practice in social work.Key Requirements: A Qualified Social Worker with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration. Previous experience working within a Duty and Assessment team or similar setting. Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills. Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work under pressure.Why Hull City Council? Competitive pay rate of £35 per hour.
