HVAC (Ventilation Bias)

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Maintenance / Service Engineer with a strong ventilation bias to join an established maintenance team covering commercial sites across London.
This role is suited to an engineer who is confident working independently, with solid experience in ventilation systems, planned maintenance, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites
* Attend reactive breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis
* Service and maintain:
* Air Handling Units (AHUs)
* Fans and ventilation systems
* Ductwork systems
* Support minor installations and remedial works
* Complete job reports and maintain accurate records
* Participate in an on-call rota
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Ventilation Focus (Key Requirement)
This role requires strong experience in:
* Ventilation systems
* Ductwork
* Fire damper testing and remedials
* Ventilation hygiene and airflow systems
Knowledge of the following is highly desirable:
* TR19 guidelines
* BSEN 15780 standards
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and fault finding
* Strong knowledge of:
* AHUs
* Fans and ventilation systems
* VRV/VRF and split systems (desirable)
* Chillers, pumps and associated plant (desirable)
* Ability to work in plant rooms, confined spaces, and at height
* Good understanding of health and safety legislation
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong communication and basic IT skills
Qualifications
Essential:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation (or equivalent)
* Proven maintenance and fault-finding experience
* Full UK driving licence
