HVDC Wiremen (Multiple Contracts)

AVA Energy is recruiting experienced HVDC Wiremen to join a major HVDC Converter Station Programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation and wiring of HVDC converter station equipment.

* Electrical installation of control, protection and marshalling panels.

* Cable installation, glanding and termination of HV, control and instrumentation cables.

* Installation of cable tray, ladder rack and containment systems.

* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring schematics.

* Carrying out point-to-point wiring checks.

* Supporting pre-commissioning and testing activities.

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to project quality standards.

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience working as an Electrical Wireman on HVDC, HV or Substation projects.

* Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

* Experience with control and protection panel wiring.

* Approved Qualifications and Certifications

* Strong commitment to health and safety.

* Right to work in the UK.
