Hygiene Supervisor

Job Description: We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to oversee cleaning operations across the full facility during the morning shift. You will ensure high standards of hygiene are consistently met, maintain an efficient cleaning schedule. This is a hands on role ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards, and ensuring food safety compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Technical Manager and Operations team in maintaining high hygiene and GMP standards across the site. * Oversee daily cleaning activities across all factory areas, ensuring schedules are completed effectively and on time. * Lead and coordinate a small team of hygiene operatives, providing guidance, training and support where required. * Ensure all cleaning procedures are carried out in line with food safety, hygiene and company standards. * Monitor hygiene consumables and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. * Maintain accurate hygiene records and documentation for traceability and compliance. * Support investigations into hygiene-related non-conformances and implement corrective actions. * Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. Skills and Experience: * Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or supervisory role within food production. * Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and cleaning practices. * Confident leading a small team with good communication and organisational skills. * Hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities. * Basic IT knowledge and experience with documentation or production systems.
