Production Department 🕒 4 on / 4 off (06:00 – 18:00) 💰 Very competitve pay 📄 Permanent Position About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Hygienist to join our Production team on a permanent basis. This is a key role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic manufacturing environment, ensuring high productivity, food safety compliance, and minimal operational downtime. Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (6am–6pm), you will play an essential part in keeping the facility audit-ready and operating to the highest hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation * Carry out heavy-duty cleaning including floors, walls, glass, and waste removal * Clean and sanitise production areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and communal areas * Maintain all areas to audit-ready standards at all times * Safely remove and dispose of hazardous materials Equipment & Chemical Handling * Operate industrial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, power washers) * Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH and safety data sheets * Correctly use PPE at all times * Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements Health & Safety * Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Hygiene policies * Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately * Prevent damage to equipment, fixtures, and flooring * Support site security and safety procedures Operational Support * Complete tasks within required timescales * Monitor cleaning stock levels and report shortages * Support different production areas as required What We’re Looking For ✔ Experience in a cleaning or hygiene role within manufacturing or production (desirable) ✔ Understanding of hygiene standards in a food or industrial environment ✔ Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling ✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ✔ Strong attention to detail ✔ Physically fit and comfortable with manual, repetitive tasks ✔ Flexible and reliable What We Offer * Competitive salary * Permanent contract * Structured 4 on / 4 off shift pattern * Stable working environment * Opportunity to be part of a supportive production team If you are a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for a stable permanent role within production, we would like to hear from you
