ICT Senior Project Manager

ICT Senior Project Manager – South London / Hybrid – £530 per day (Umbrella) A South London Local Authority is seeking an experienced ICT Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology transformation projects. This role will focus on major initiatives including on-premise to cloud migration, network refresh, and rollout of Microsoft productivity tools. You will play a pivotal role in driving business change through the successful implementation of robust ICT solutions across both public-facing and back-office services. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex ICT projects across a multi-project portfolio Manage budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies Drive stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners Oversee supplier and service provider performance Support wider Transformation Programme and technical delivery of change initiatives Ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget targets Provide clear reporting within a formal governance framework Essential Experience Proven experience delivering large-scale, transformational ICT projects Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Solid budget and resource management capability Experience managing interdependencies across multiple projects Skilled in risk, issue, and performance management Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders Experience translating user requirements into effective technical solutions Working knowledge of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP or similar
