Role Title: Inclusive Educational Needs Tutor Location: Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire Start date: ASAP Duration: Permanent Hours/Days: Monday - Friday Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 I am working with an FE training centre in the Lancashire area who are looking for a permanent Inclusive Educational Needs Tutor to deliver high-quality English, Maths, language and study skills support to identified SEND learners through small group and 1:1 provision. The role ensures learners with additional needs achieve positive outcomes and successfully complete their programmes.Key Responsibilities Teaching & Support * Deliver targeted English and Maths support sessions. * Provide in-class and 1:1 support to SEND learners. * Assess learners and set/review SMART targets. * Recommend and implement reasonable adjustments. * Support learners in managing behaviour and developing coping strategies. Quality & Compliance * Maintain accurate learner records in line with funding requirements. * Contribute to curriculum and quality meetings. * Develop and review risk assessments and support plans. * Work closely with Safeguarding and Quality teams. Partnership & Promotion * Signpost learners to internal and external support services. * Support enrolment, induction and open events. * Maintain effective links with external agencies. * Travel between academies as required. Person Specification Essential * Experience supporting SEND learners. * Experience delivering English and/or Maths support. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice. * Ability to travel between sites. Desirable * Teaching qualification. * SEND/Additional Learning Support qualification. * Knowledge of funded provision and compliance requirements.
