Indirect Sourcing Manager Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) Salary: Up to c £60,000 Are you an experienced Indirect Procurement professional looking to step into a high‑impact sourcing role? We're delighted to be supporting a growing organisation in hiring an Indirect Sourcing Manager to lead medium‑complexity sourcing projects across a diverse indirects portfolio. You'll manage a small team, drive competitive contracts, lead negotiations, and build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. This role will suit someone with strong indirects experience, public sector exposure is beneficial but not essential. Broad indirect category experience is welcomed (e.g. professional services, logistics, travel, packaging, corporate services, etc.). What you'll be doing Deliver end‑to‑end sourcing projects (RFI/RFP/ITT, negotiation, contract award). Develop category strategies and analyse supplier proposals. Build strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships. Lead and support a team of Buyers/Specialists. Achieve savings and commercial targets within the annual sourcing plan. Ensure procurement compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives. What we're looking for Strong indirect procurement experience across varied categories. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage medium‑complexity categories. Confident leading end‑to‑end sourcing projects and managing multiple priorities. Team leadership or mentoring experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical thinker with strong Excel/commercial modelling ability. Why This Role?
