Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician Rate: £21.28 (PAYE) Location: Hull & Humber Region & across the UK Contract Type: Permanent About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team. You will play a key role in Installing maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical systems across our project division to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities * Install electrical systems and components in industrial settings (e.g., factories, warehouses, processing plants). * Diagnose and repair electrical faults across, control panels, and site infrastructure. * Install, upgrade, and commission electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and PLC controlled equipment. * Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations. * Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime. * Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams. * Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage. Skills & Experience Required * Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance. * Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment. * Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial control systems (advantageous). * Good problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred). * CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent * 2391 testing & inspection qualification (desirable) What We Offer * Competitive salary and overtime opportunities. * Training and professional development.
