Injection Moulding Setter – Wimborne – £31,000 to £32,000 As an Injection Moulding Setter, you’ll be responsible for the accurate setting of tools, ensuring machines run efficiently while maintaining strict quality control. Working closely with the Mould Shop Team Leader, the Injection Moulding Setter will help maximise productivity, minimise waste, and support the introduction of new products through tool trials. This is a varied position where a proactive Injection Moulding Setter can contribute to continuous improvement across the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Efficiently setting injection moulding tools to meet production requirements Carrying out daily safety checks and completing First Off records Following documented setting procedures and method sheets for every job Monitoring and controlling material drying processes Troubleshooting process and machine issues using analytical problem solving Managing waste, energy usage, and regrind material effectively Maintaining high 5S standards within the mould shop Supporting tool trials for new product introductions Essential Skills Proven experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter Strong understanding of injection moulding machinery and tooling Ability to fault find and resolve production issues quickly High attention to detail and commitment to product quality Good understanding of health and safety in a manufacturing setting Ability to follow documented processes and maintain accurate records Desirable Experience Experience supporting new product trials or process development Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Experience assisting with training or supporting other team members Benefits Salary of £31,000 – £32,000 Stable position within a well-organised production environment Opportunity to contribute to improvement projects and new product trials Supportive team culture focused on quality and efficiency If you’re an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who wants to be part of a business that values precision, people, and progress, get in touch.
