Inside Sales Specialist, Analytical Systems Location: Office based (Beds/Herts) Salary: ~£35,000 plus bonus * Are you a degree qualified Chemist, Material Scientist or Physicist * Are you seeking a customer focused role in Science/Engineering * Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Are you based in Bedfordshire-Hertfordshire area (or able to relocate) * Are you looking for an office based role with occasional customer visits? Working for a leading name in analytical measurement systems with applications for bench research to in-process monitoring and field analysis; our client works with a range of industries including chemical manufacturing, water/utilities, materials and advanced manufacturing and FMCG/F&B markets Due to an internal promotion they have an opportunity within their Inside Sales team. Working for the companies UK Head Office you’ll be part of a high performing team delivering instrumentation and monitoring systems to industry and academia. Your day to day responsibilities will include: * Validating and developing inbound leads * Conduct outbound new business development * Manage multiple on-going sales cycles; ensuring excellent customer communication and working with colleagues across sales, product management and engineering to help progress sales opportunities * Support customers with fist-line tech support and escalating where appropriate * Occasional field based sales visits where appropriate About you: * Degree qualified in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics or close related * Good hands-on experience in an analytical, measurement science, metrology, rheological lab * Previous customer facing experience; preferably within a scientific or engineering environment * Previous sales experience is preferred but isn’t essential * UK driving licence For additional information please contact Richard Taylor
