Interim Group Reporting Lead

Axon Moore are partnering with a dynamic, multi-entity organisation to appoint an Interim Group Reporting Lead. This is a high-impact, highly visible role sitting at the heart of the group finance function, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director / CFO.

This is a broad and technically demanding position where you will take full ownership of the group reporting process across multiple subsidiaries — from end-to-end consolidations and intercompany reconciliations through to compliance, technical accounting, and board-level reporting.

This role would suit a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven group reporting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. You'll be technically strong, commercially minded, and able to hit the ground running from day one.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading the group consolidation and close process across all subsidiaries
Managing intercompany reconciliations
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Liaising with external auditors and coordinating the year-end audit
Producing board-level reporting packs with clear financial commentary
Supporting subsidiary finance teams with technical accounting queries
What we're looking for:

Fully qualified accountant with strong group reporting credentials
Hands-on experience of multi-entity consolidations
Strong communicator, confident engaging at senior stakeholder level
Available at short notice and able to commit to an interim engagement
