Internal Sales Engineer
This position combines engineering knowledge, CAD capability, and commercial awareness, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical design and customer-focused work.
Key Responsibilities
Produce process flow diagrams (PFDs) and 3D models to support system designs and client presentations
Prepare quotation documents, including detailed cost estimates for projects and systems
Develop project timelines and supporting documentation
Generate spares quotations and technical proposals
Work closely with the sales team to translate client requirements into clear, professional proposals
Support continuous improvement of quotation and proposal processesAbout You
Experience using CAD software (2D and 3D modelling)
Strong understanding of engineering concepts (process systems experience desirable)
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
Confident producing technical and commercial documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
Commercial awareness with an interest in sales and client interactionCareer Development
This role is designed as a development pathway:
Start as an Internal Technical Sales Engineer, supporting and learning from the wider sales team
Progress into an External Sales Engineer role, managing client relationships and driving business growth
