About the Job As Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Property Maintenance, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency, and compliance of assessment practice across qualifications and/or apprenticeship standards. Your responsibilities will include: * Monitoring and supporting assessors to ensure consistent, high-quality assessment decisions * Conducting sampling, verification, and standardisation activities * Providing structured feedback, coaching, and developmental guidance * Ensuring compliance with awarding body, EPAO, and regulatory requirements * Maintaining robust IQA documentation and audit trails * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and inspection readiness * Working closely with delivery and quality teams to embed best practice This is a fully remote freelance role, offering flexibility while maintaining strategic quality impact. The Ideal Candidate You will be a quality-driven professional with strong occupational credibility and a methodical approach to compliance. Essential: * Occupational competence and industry experience in Property Maintenance or a related construction trade * Recognised IQA qualification (TAQA, D34, V1, Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent) * Experience quality assuring vocational qualifications and/or apprenticeships * Strong understanding of awarding body, EPAO, and regulatory frameworks * Excellent communication and coaching capability * Organised, detail-oriented, and audit-ready mindset This role will suit someone who takes pride in maintaining standards and supporting assessors to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
