Apply NowBelmont Recruitment are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Bradford Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd/3rd line support across infrastructure and end-user environments
* Support, maintain and improve IT systems to meet agreed service levels
* Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including root cause analysis
* Work within ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
* Monitor system performance and contribute to service improvements
* Maintain accurate service documentation and use ITSM tools effectively
* Collaborate with colleagues and third-party suppliers to resolve issues
* Support infrastructure projects, upgrades and implementations
Requirements:
* Experience working in an IT service operations or infrastructure environment
* Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of ITIL principles and service management processes
* Experience supporting Windows environments and Active Directory
* Exposure to virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware or Hyper-V)
Location - This role is fully office based in Bradford City Centre
