Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with approved standards and safety regulations
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to execute projects accurately
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete wiring, conduit installation, and testing tasks
* Conduct thorough inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with safety codes and quality standards
* Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate work schedules and project timelines
* Document all work performed accurately in reports and logs for record-keeping and future reference
Qualifications
* Valid JIB Approved Electrician certification demonstrating recognized industry qualification
* Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
* Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical faults
* Strong commitment to health & safety standards and regulatory compliance
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
