Hatched Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner on behalf of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner to join the Operational Services Team carrying out maintenance and new works across the council area.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of joinery works, including general maintenance, repairs and installation tasks across council properties and facilities.

Key Duties Include:

Carrying out joinery maintenance and repair works
Completing new joinery works as required
Working across various council sites within the Lisburn & Castlereagh area
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices
Supporting the wider Operational Services Team with other duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience working as a Joiner
Strong knowledge of joinery maintenance and repair works
Ability to complete tasks independently and to a high standard
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work safely within a team environment

Contract Details:

Location: Unit 5 Blaris Industrial Estate, Altona Road, Lisburn

Start Date: 10th August 2026

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour
