Junior Fire & Security Engineer / Engineer’s Mate Location: Exeter & Surrounding Areas Full-Time - Training & Progression Provided I’m currently recruiting for a Junior Fire & Security Engineer / Engineer’s Mate to join a growing and supportive company based around Exeter. This is an ideal opportunity for someone starting their career in the industry, particularly if you’ve recently come out of college or have a strong interest in electrics and want to build a long-term career in fire and security. If you’re looking for a role where you can learn on the job, gain hands-on experience and progress into a fully qualified engineer, this is a fantastic place to start. The Role You’ll be working closely alongside a Senior Engineer, supporting on a range of fire and security projects while learning the trade day by day. Your main duties will include: * Assisting with testing of fire and security systems * Supporting installations and maintenance work * Learning how to fault find and diagnose issues * Helping with general site work and equipment setup * Gaining exposure to systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control This is a hands-on role where you’ll be learning while working, building real experience out in the field.
