Junior Health & Safety Advisor

Job Title: Junior Health & Safety Advisor (Contract) Location: Doncaster Rate: £200-£250 per day (depending on experience) Sector: Civil Engineering Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading civil engineering and RC frame contractor on a contract basis in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced site environment, working alongside experienced professionals on major construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation and monitoring of health & safety policies and procedures on site Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance Assist in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Promote a positive health & safety culture among site teams and subcontractors Record and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices Ensure all works are carried out in line with current legislation and company standards Assist with inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings Requirements: NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards) Previous experience in a construction, civil engineering, or RC frame environment (preferred) Good understanding of UK health & safety legislation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail What's on Offer: Competitive day rate of £200-£250 Opportunity to gain hands-on experience on major projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for development Immediate start available How to Apply: If you are a driven Junior Health & Safety professional looking for your next contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
