Key Account Manager – Commercial Services

Middlewich, Cheshire | £30,000–£32,500 plus 2k Bonus | Hybrid Working

Are you the person who keeps clients happy, solves problems before they escalate and makes sure everything happens exactly when it should?

I’m recruiting a Key Account Manager for an established and successful commercial services business based in Middlewich. With more than 30 years’ experience and an impressive portfolio of clients.

This isn’t a hard-sales role. It’s all about building brilliant client relationships, coordinating service delivery and becoming the trusted link between customers, operational teams and suppliers.

What you’ll be doing

* Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of key clients

* Ensuring services are delivered smoothly, accurately and on time

* Acting as the main link between customers and internal operational teams

* Responding to client queries and resolving issues with confidence

* Preparing quotations, obtaining supplier costs and raising purchase orders

* Managing contracts and updating the company’s bespoke SiteOps system

* Analysing data and producing meaningful internal and client reports

* Providing financial information to support the finance team

* Identifying opportunities to improve service levels and strengthen client relationships

* Supporting the company’s health and safety culture

* Taking on responsibilities such as key holder, fire warden or first aider when required

What we’re looking for

You could already be working as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Client Services Executive, Customer Success Manager or Service Delivery Coordinator.

You’ll ideally bring:

* Experience managing customers or delivering solutions based on client needs

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Strong organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

* A practical, positive approach to problem-solving

* Confidence handling challenging conversations and negotiating solutions

* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

* The motivation to work independently while being a great team player

Experience within facilities management, landscaping, property services, construction or another service-led environment would be useful, although it isn’t essential.
