Undertake kinship and connected persons assessments, including viability and full fostering assessments, following statutory guidance.
Provide essential support and supervision to kinship carers, ensuring placements meet fostering standards and children’s needs.
Contribute to care and permanence planning, promoting stable and long-term outcomes for children.
Prepare and present high-quality reports for fostering panels, including assessment reports and review documentation.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
Evidence of continued professional development
Registration & Compliance:
Registered with Social Work England
Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act 1989, Fostering Services Regulations 2011, and Care Planning, Placement and Case Review Regulations
Enhanced DBS clearance
