Kitchen Manager

Job title: Kitchen Manager (Mobile cook Manager) Location: Watford, Bushey, Ruilsip- You will need to be able to travel to the listed locations  Salary: £15.31 per hour (£18,530 per year) As a Mobile School Cook Manager, you will use your enthusiasm for fresh, healthy food to support multiple schools in your local area. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that students and staff look forward to every day, helping create a positive dining experience across your sites. This role is mobile so you will be required to commute to the diffrent locations listed. Key Responsibilities: Locations: Watford, Bushey, and Ruislip, plus nearby areas Prepare meals in line with provided menus and recipes, including accommodating special dietary requirements Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety regulations Monitor stock levels, place orders, and support effective budget management Lead, motivate, and develop your team to ensure high standards and continuous improvement Foster strong, positive relationships with school staff, students, and the wider school community About You: Hold a full UK driving licence, have business vehicle insurance, and access to your own vehicle to travel between sites Have experience in school or educational catering, with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients Possess a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (additional training can be provided if required) Demonstrate a solid understanding of kitchen health & safety standards Be proactive, organised, and confident in leading and motivating a team Show enthusiasm for learning, personal development, and making a meaningful difference in schools DBS check ideal  Whats to offer: £15.31per hour (£18,530 per annum) 27.5 hours per week Term time only
