A friendly and nurturing primary school in North East Manchester is seeking a full-time KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 to cover maternity leave. The school is situated in a well-connected area with excellent transport links, making it easily commutable from Manchester city centre, Chadderton, Ashton-under-Lyne, Oldham, Prestwich and Rochdale.

The role
KS1 Teacher - Full-time
Full-time maternity cover from September 2026
Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Working closely with support staff and colleagues
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community

The ideal candidate
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management skills
Passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
