KS2 Teacher – Full-Time Maternity Cover

Bordesley Green, Birmingham

Are you a passionate and motivated KS2 Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity in a welcoming primary school?

is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a well-established and supportive primary school in Nechells, Birmingham, for a full-time maternity cover role beginning in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a wonderful Year 3 class within a positive and inclusive school environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive. The role is expected to continue until July 2027, with the potential for extension depending on the school’s future needs.

About the Role

As the KS2 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports every learner
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity for pupils
Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and encourage a love of learning

✅ What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from teachers who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
Are adaptable, proactive, and confident in a temporary role
Can commit to the full duration of the maternity cover
