Ks2 Teaching Assistant

EduTalent are currently supporting a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hailsham who are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive school environment. The Role * Provide classroom support in Year 3 during the morning and Year 5 in the afternoon * Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support where required * Support pupils with high levels of SEN and behavioural needs * Work closely with the class teachers and SENCo to support pupil progress * Assist with classroom preparation and maintaining a positive learning environment * Supervise pupils during mid-day meals Working Hours: 8:45am – 3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break) Requirements * Previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally KS2 * Experience supporting pupils with SEN and behaviour needs * Calm, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Must be a driver due to the school’s location * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one) Benefits of Working with EduTalent * Support from a dedicated and experienced consultant * Opportunity to secure a long-term role in a supportive school * Competitive daily rates * Access to training and CPD opportunities * Potential for future opportunities within local schools
