Labourer

Job Title: Groundworks Labourers x2 Location: Central Edinburgh Start Date: 30/03/2026 Duration: 4 Weeks Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 16:30 We are currently looking for 2 Groundworks Labourers for a civil engineering project in Central Edinburgh, starting 30th March 2026 for an initial 4-week contract. This role will involve supporting a groundworks and civils team on site, assisting with a range of general labouring and groundwork duties. Requirements: * Valid CSCS Card (essential) * Previous experience on groundworks or civils sites preferred * Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions * Good understanding of site health & safety Typical duties will include: * Assisting groundworkers with drainage, ducting and trenching works * Digging, backfilling and compacting materials * Moving and loading materials around site * Supporting the installation of kerbing, paving, and foundations * Keeping the site clean and safe, including general labouring tasks * Assisting with setting up and dismantling temporary works or barriers * Following instructions from the site supervisor or groundworks team To apply, please get in touch with your CV and CSCS card details for immediate consideration
