Job Title - Labourer
Job Type - Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and physically fit Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide general support on site, assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure materials and equipment are handled correctly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople and site staff with general construction and maintenance tasks.
Load, unload, move, and organise materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare work areas and ensure sites are kept clean and tidy.
Remove waste, debris, and unwanted materials safely.
Assist with basic manual work, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely, where trained and authorised.
Support deliveries and ensure materials are stored correctly.
Assist with site preparation and clearance.
Follow instructions from supervisors, site managers, and skilled tradespeople.
Follow all company health and safety policies and site procedures.
Wear appropriate PPE and report any hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
Previous labouring or construction experience is desirable but not essential.
Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
