Job Title: Laser Operative

We are currently looking for a Laser Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating laser cutting machines, particularly with plate cutting in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating laser cutting machinery safely and efficiently

* Loading materials and setting up jobs according to specifications

* Monitoring machine performance and quality of cuts

* Carrying out basic maintenance and housekeeping of the workstation

* Working to production targets and quality standards

Experience:

* Previous experience with laser cutting equipment (especially plate) is preferred

* However, full training can be provided for the right candidate with a strong manufacturing background and willingness to learn

Pay Rate:

* Experienced candidates: circa £14.00 per hour

* Rate may vary depending on experience level
