We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Air Conditioning Lead Installations Engineer to head our small team of mainly DAIKIN , ALTHERMA, VRV / VRF SPLITS in HVAC installation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Duties

* Survey sites and risk assess project locations.

* Order materials and arrange delivery. Oversea subcontractor, crane lifts and scaffold as required

* Lead and coordinate the installation of air conditioning systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications

* Oversee the interpretation of schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately

* Supervise and mentor installation technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques

* Conduct site assessments, prepare installation plans, and ensure all equipment and materials meet quality standards

* Perform system testing, commissioning, and calibration to guarantee optimal operation of HVAC units

* Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, technical reports, and compliance records

* Collaborate with project managers, property maintenance teams, and clients to ensure timely project completion

Requirements: Essential City and Guilds Qualifications, NVQ Level 2, F GAS and also previous experience in leading teams, coaching and training to develop skills of the team

* Travel to sites in the UK. Stay overnight if job requires

* Meet colleagues and Directors at North Kent offices as required.

* Proven experience in construction, HVAC/R systems, or related mechanical fields with a focus on air conditioning installations

* Service technician experience with knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems, plumbing, and appliance repair

* Strong mechanical knowledge including brazing and pipe bending. On any refrigeration systems

* Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate with clients
