Lead Podiatrist - Penzance, Cornwall

Are you an experienced HCPC-registered podiatrist looking to take the next step in your career? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and ambitious private podiatry practice in Cornwall as a Lead Podiatrist, supporting clinical excellence and helping to develop services across the business.

We are seeking a confident and experienced podiatrist who enjoys managing more complex cases, mentoring less experienced clinicians, and delivering outstanding patient care. This role offers significant autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to play a key role in the future growth of the practice.

Competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum pro rata, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

*

Managing a varied caseload including more complex podiatric conditions

*

Conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans

*

Providing clinical leadership and support to junior podiatrists, FHPs, and assistants

*

Supporting the development of clinical standards, policies, and procedures

*

Delivering treatment within both clinic and community settings as required

*

Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

*

Contributing to service development and practice growth initiatives

*

Delivering exceptional patient care and customer service

Required Qualifications & Skills:

*

HCPC-registered Podiatrist

*

BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent qualification

*

Previous post-graduate experience within NHS and/or private practice settings

*

Confident managing a broad range of routine and complex podiatric conditions

*

Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills

*

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

*

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

*

Ability to work independently while supporting wider team development
