Lead Project Professional - Controls

Our client, a prestigious organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional with a strong background in project management and controls. This role is based in Barrow for a 6-month contract initially.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing project controls including cost management, risk management, and integration
Developing and maintaining comprehensive project reporting to ensure effective monitoring
Managing and coordinating project planning activities to meet strategic goals
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project deliverables and timelines
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Providing expert guidance and support in project management best practices
Ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements
Leading a team of project controls professionals to achieve desired outcomes

Job Requirements:

Experience in project management within the defence and security sector
Proficiency in project controls, including cost and risk management
Strong integration and reporting skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work on-site in Barrow for 2 days a week
