We are recruiting for a Lead Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a busy engineering and manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with multiple departments, implementing effective processes and procedures, and driving standards forward.
Duties Include:
* Leading and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance
* Supporting the future implementation of ISO 45001
* Managing internal and external audits
* Implementing and monitoring processes and procedures across the business
* Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Producing and monitoring quality and compliance KPIs
* Maintaining compliance documentation and audit records
* Working closely with all departments across the business
* Supporting future implementation of a QMS/BMS system
The Successful Candidate:
* Previous experience within a Quality, Compliance or Engineering role within manufacturing
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
* Experience managing audits
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable:
* Knowledge of ISO 45001
* Lead Auditor qualification
* Experience within metal manufacturing or construction products
* Experience implementing QMS or BMS systems
On Offer:
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Location: Dudley
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to play a key part in shaping and improving quality systems within an established and growing business.
