About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students throughout their school day, helping them engage with learning, develop communication skills and build independence. You will work both 1:1 and with small groups, ensuring pupils feel safe, understood and supported. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting students with ASC and autism within the classroom Assisting with structured and differentiated learning activities Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation Implementing sensory strategies and consistent routines Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff Encouraging independence and social development The role requires someone who is proactive, patient and confident working independently, while also contributing positively as part of a cohesive staff team.
