Full-Time | Permanent | Term-Time Only

Salary: £20,021 – £23,049 (term-time only)
Annual pay split across 12 months – paid during school holidays
FTE: £26,339 – £30,732

About the Role
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will support children with autism and complex needs in a structured, nurturing environment—helping them develop life skills, regulate emotions, and achieve meaningful progress.

Learning goes beyond the classroom, including outdoor activities and practical life skills such as cooking and daily routines that promote independence.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils (1:1 and small groups)

Assist with lessons and behaviour support

Encourage emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Support routines, transitions, and personal care (where required)

Deliver engaging indoor and outdoor learning

Build strong, trusting relationships

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

Experience with children or vulnerable individuals

Calm, patient, and resilient approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Basic IT skills

Desirable:

Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification

Important Information
This role can be physically and emotionally demanding. Some pupils may display behaviours of concern, requiring calm and consistent support.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Safeguarding
Enhanced DBS check (including barred list) required.
