Job Title: Lettings Consultant Location: Brentwood Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 basic (OTE £25,000+) About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Candidate to join their successful and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, a professional approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in supporting tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry through to move-in. Key Responsibilities Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and requirements Match applicants with suitable rental properties Conduct property viewings and provide a high level of customer service Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants Negotiate rental terms between all parties Carry out property inspections to ensure standards are maintained Maintain accurate records using internal systems Provide professional communication via phone, email, and face-to-face Candidate Requirements Essential Experience in an office-based or professional environment Strong customer-facing experience (in person and over the phone) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, confident, and well-presented Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop IT literate (MS Office and able to pick up new systems quickly) Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Desirable Previous experience within lettings, estate agency, or property Background in sales, customer service, or call centre environments Experience working in a target-driven environment Key Attributes People-focused with strong relationship-building skills Driven and motivated to succeed Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organisation Professional and presentable at all times What's on Offer Competitive basic salary with OTE earning potential Structured training and development Clear career progression opportunities Birthday day off Company pension Team events and incentives Performance-related rewards and recognition Referral programme Increasing holiday entitlement with service Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 6:00pm Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Saturday: 9:00am - 4:00pm (5-day week with a day off in lieu)
