Apply NowRJS Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Lettings Manager to lead the lettings department of an established property business.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an existing operation, support an experienced team and help grow the property portfolio. You’ll combine day-to-day leadership with a practical approach, keeping customer service, commercial performance and compliance at the heart of the department.
Package:
* Basic salary of £33,000–£38,000, depending on experience.
* Uncapped bonus scheme

Your responsibilities
* Coordinate the daily running of the department, ensuring workloads are balanced and priorities are clear.
* Coach and support colleagues, set objectives and review performance.
* Build lasting relationships with landlords and tenants through responsive, professional service.
* Generate new business through market appraisals, prospective landlord enquiries and opportunities to expand the managed portfolio.
* Oversee the journey from property marketing and applications through to tenancy progression and ongoing management.
* Take the lead on sensitive tenancy issues, complaints and enquiries requiring management support.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure the team follows relevant legislation, internal procedures and industry standards.
* Monitor departmental results and identify practical ways to improve performance and service delivery.
What we’re looking for
* At least three years’ experience in residential agency lettings.
* Previous management or supervisory experience would be an advantage.
* Sound knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
* The confidence to lead, motivate and develop a team.
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach to challenging conversations.
* Excellent organisation, with the ability to manage competing demands.
* A commercial mindset and an interest in developing new business.
* Confidence using property management software and CRM systems.
* A full UK driving licence.
* An ARLA Level 3 qualification, or equivalent property qualification, would be highly desirable.
