Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Full-Time | Flexible Working | Gloucester (GL4) Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, family-focused nursery team in Gloucester. Located on Churchfield Road, Gloucester (GL4), our unique nursery is set within a beautifully converted church, offering spacious rooms, a homely atmosphere, and fantastic outdoor learning environments. With a low staff turnover and team members who have been with us for over 15 years, this is a place where you'll feel supported, valued, and inspired every day.

What You'll Be Doing

* Working primarily within our Under 2s rooms, caring for babies from 9 months old.

* Creating engaging, nurturing learning experiences that help every child thrive.

* Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

* Supporting children's development through play, exploration, and outdoor learning.

* Adapting confidently to children's individual needs and daily routines.

What We're Looking For

* A Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 2 applicants will also be considered if willing to achieve Level 3 within 6 months).

* A genuine passion for childcare and early years education.

* A confident, positive approach to interacting with children.

* Someone who is flexible, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

* Competitive salary (dependent on qualifications and experience, above National Minimum Wage).

* Full-time role (40 hours per week).

* Tuesday to Friday availability is essential.

Working Hours

* Nursery opening hours: 8:00am – 5:45pm.

* Typical shifts: 9 hours including a 1-hour lunch break.

* Flexible shift patterns available where possible.

* Off-site lunch breaks are welcomed.
