Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Primary Schools across Derbyshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only options available) About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a number of welcoming primary schools across Derbyshire. This role involves supporting teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences and helping pupils reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to support learning and development. Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and displays. Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs. Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development. Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers. Requirements Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Experience working within a primary school setting. A strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
