About the role
£13.71 per hour
Monday to Friday days
08:00 - 16:00
Starting immediately
As a Linisher you will:
Operate linishing and grinding machinery to finish metal components to the required specification.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, weld spatter, and surface imperfections from fabricated parts.
Prepare materials for welding, painting, coating, or assembly processes.
Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and dimensional requirements are met.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
