Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team based in Bournemouth, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across Dorset and Hampshire. The successful candidate will manage a varied litigation caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment that genuinely encourages long-term progression and development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
• Advising clients on a range of dispute resolution matters
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings and court documentation
• Conducting negotiations and exploring settlement opportunities where appropriate
• Managing matters through litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Encouraging repeat business and referrals across the firm
• Meeting time recording and billing targets
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
• Delivering a high standard of client care and professional service
• Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with approximately 3–5 years PQE in litigation
• Strong experience handling a varied civil and commercial litigation caseload
• Ability to manage matters independently from instruction through to completion
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
• Experience using case management systems advantageous
• Ambitious, self-motivated and keen to progress within a growing firm
