Live In Care Assistant
You will provide essential care and support to individuals in various settings, including residential homes, supported living environments, and private family homes.
Delivering person-centered care, you’ll work directly with clients and families to build routines that promote dignity, independence, and well-being. You’ll have the chance to build meaningful relationships while making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
(Support workers must be available for a minimum of 7 consecutive days per placement to be eligible for this role)
Daily responsibilities will vary depending on the individual’s needs but may include the following:

Personal care and hygiene support

Medication administration and reminders
*
Promoting social engagement and community access
*
Meal preparation and nutritional support
*
Mobility assistance and physical support
*
Complex care (where trained)
*
Domestic duties and light housework
*
Emotional support and companionship
*
Recordkeeping and daily reporting

Requirements:

Ability to work independently, using your own initiative within a client’s home or support setting.
*
Commitment to placements of a minimum of 7 consecutive nights where required.
*
At least 6 months of professional care or support experience
*
Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check (or PVG in Scotland) and provide two verifiable professional references.
*
Strong communication skills and a good level of spoken English.
*
Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer Skilled Worker or Student visa sponsorship)
