Live In Carer

We are recruiting for an experienced Female Live-In Carer for a short-term placement supporting a 50-year-old gentleman in Tring. This is a companionship-led role with minimal personal care, ideal for someone personable, confident, and able to build natural rapport. About the Client * 50-year-old male * Visual impairment * Diabetes (self-manages medication) * Fully independent with personal care * Film enthusiast – enjoys conversation and humour He is looking for someone with a good sense of humour, who can engage in conversation and enjoys light-hearted banter. The Role * 10 hours support per day * No waking nights / no night disturbance * Supervision of insulin dosage (no administration required) * Meal preparation and light household duties * Companionship and general wellbeing support * Monitoring falls risk (client fully mobile) What We’re Looking For * Female carer (client request) * Previous live-in care experience * Experience supporting diabetes (supervision level) * Friendly, confident and emotionally intelligent * Enhanced DBS * Right to work in the UK * Available for immediate start What’s On Offer ✔ £17.00 – £19.00 per hour ✔ Supportive mobilisation team ✔ Clear expectations – no complex clinical care ✔ Potential for further placements If you are available immediately and confident you can provide engaging, person-centred live-in support, apply today with your CV and availability
