Livestock Manager – Beef & Sheep
Central Scotland | £40,000 + Large Modern 6-Bed House

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Livestock Manager to take the lead on a large-scale beef and sheep enterprise in Central Scotland.

Set across approximately 4,000 acres, this is a progressive and evolving business with a growing focus on beef production as sheep numbers are reduced. This role offers genuine responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within a well-established farming operation.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the livestock enterprise, with a key focus on developing and improving the beef operation while maintaining high standards across the remaining sheep enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing all aspects of the beef and sheep enterprises

* Driving performance and development within the beef system

* Overseeing herd and flock health, welfare, and productivity

* Grazing and grassland management across a large acreage

* Feeding, breeding, and performance monitoring

* Working closely with farm owners and advisors

* Supporting and managing staff where required

* Maintaining records and ensuring compliance

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience managing beef and/or sheep enterprises

* Strong stockmanship and practical ability

* Confidence working independently with full responsibility

* Experience in grassland and grazing systems

* A proactive, forward-thinking approach
